Sr HR Generalist, Santo Domingo


Review employer practices or employee data to ensure compliance with contracts on matters such as wages, hours, or conditions of employment
Become the go-to resource for managers and employees on all things HR, including: payroll, benefits, employee performance, career planning, conflict resolution, coaching and development
Strategic duties include tasks such as employee recruitment, managing performance reviews, retaining workers, and handling individual and organizational development and succession planning
Maintaining employee records, administering benefits and payroll, and providing employee self-service
HR policy development and documentation in line with the companyÂ’s corporate vision
Stay up-to-date on HR best practices and help ensure compliance with all federal, state and local requirements
Serve as a culture champion and brand ambassador, also stablish and maintain a position of trusted advisor to all associates
Establishes and maintains a position of trusted advisor to all associates
Review employer practices or employee data to ensure compliance with contracts on matters such as wages, hours, or conditions of employment
Advise management on matters related to the administration of contracts or employee discipline or grievance procedures Investigates and resolves associate relations issues and concerns partners closely with HR leadership regarding highly complex associate relations matters
Partner with the leadership team to help shape company culture and grow the team dynamic Coordinate annual reviews and employee development efforts such as 1on1s, manager 360s
Monitors the pulse of the location, providing feedback to HR leadership on the progress of cultural, performance, and associate relations initiatives
Serves as back-up HR support for New Hire Orientation
Participates in the development, improvement and administration of various HR policies and programs through contributing the perspective of the companyÂ’s associate population
Develop methods to monitor employee satisfaction with policies or working conditions, including grievance or complaint procedures
Train managers or supervisors on topics related to labor relations, such as working conditions, safety, or equal opportunity practicesBS/MS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or any related field Three to five plus years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions
Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources programs
Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations, preferred
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping
Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
